ripped apart

(originally from jean michel-basquiet)

god my neighbor just called me and she’s like… is this your chicken in our driveway… like who else has a chicken in this neighborhood yes it’s my chicken… so i get over there and kylo hen is chilling in their driveway eating some specs and stuff and there’s this actual crowd of people around her and i’m like… hi sorry mb let me get her… and oh my god… they’re like do you need us to call someone?? should we get help?? how should we do this?? do you need a net? like bitch it’s a chicken not a fucking komodo dragon. so i just… i was kind of joking around so i crouched down and patted my thighs and all the chickens are trained to come to me on sight because me = food… so i got down there and went “here girl!! come here!!” and the chicken comes running over and this group of actual adult ass individuals were staring at me like i was the fucking pied piper… and i didn’t know what to say…. so i just kind of walked back to my yard with the chicken following me and none of them moved or said a damn word and i think i literally just convinced them this chicken is trained like a dog…

your chicken’s name is kylo hen

kylo hen and her master.

I want to read more stories about that.

Abusers will always make you feel like it was your fault they hurt you.  Whether that hurt was physical, mental, emotional, sexual, financial, verbal, etc.  They always turn the blame on to you.

But this is the truth: The abuse was and never will be your fault.  You can’t control someone elses actions, only they can.  The blame goes solely on the person(s) who hurt you.

The abuse is never your fault.

You are not to blame for how someone treats you.

You are not to blame.

It was not your fault.

No matter what they told you.

Alright, after taking a peek at the #Saidnomother tag on Twitter I am…horrified at the number of parents, the majority of them being Autism Moms, so openly blaming vaccinations for causing Autism and complaining about on their own children online, despite it being confirmed that the doctor who claimed that vaccinations causes Autism is FALSE.

April, AKA Autism Acceptance Month as many as you know is coming up soon, and mostly likely that hashtag will gain more and more popularity. I suggest not looking it up if you are sensetive to the topic. So I propose that for April we fight back against these disgusting remarks with out own hastag;

I am not trying to pressure anyone into doing this. Hell, I am not even sure if this will spread much, but I am growing sick of our disability being treated as a burden.

Parents are allowed to be tired and stressed. Parenting is hard, especially with a disability they might not understand, and I understand that, its not easy, but far too many do not listen to our voices. We deserved to be heard, we deserve to be angry at our mistreatment, we deserve to fight back.

We enjoy being made fun of because we cannot understand social cues #saidnoautistic

We enjoy hearing news of autistic children being murdered because its ends our “suffering” #saidnoautistic

We enjoy the countless stories of abuse of autistic children and adults caused from their own families #saidnoautistic

We enjoy hearing our family, our friends, or even strangers openly complain about our disability #saidnoautistic

We enjoy being called r***rded, the jokes/memes of how we were born #saidnoautistic

We enjoy being referred too as a disease #saidnoautisic

We support AutismSpeaks speaking over us #saidnoautistic

Let your voices be heard. Whenever you use this hastag, or not does not matter to me. We are human beings drserving of understanding and acceptance. We are autistic, and we will not let this slide.
