I have a ton of followers and I am not writing this to brag but it is a fact. The downside to having a lot of followers is that I no longer have the time check out the people that follow me to see if I should follow them back. I generally get anywhere between 15-30 followers a day and it is hard to keep track. It bothers me because I love sharing with people and meeting interesting Tumblrers. I found that for the first 100 people who followed me I generally reciprocated with a follow back. That changed over time and now I find new followers through tags, which brings me to the point of this post.

Make sure you tag your posts.

I find lots of content using my tracked tags. It is a fantastic feature on Tumblr and if you use it people will find you. I just found Dara, who looks like she has some potential as a great Tumblr follow even though she has been on Tumblr for less than a week. I started following her but I only discovered her because she tagged her work. So please tag your work so I can start following you. Thanks.

I am obsessed with Das Racist and this song is unreal. So good.

Adobe Illustrator to HTML5 Canvas

“The Ai->Canvas plug-in enables Adobe® Illustrator® to export vector and bitmap artwork directly to an HTML5 canvas element that can be rendered in a canvas-enabled browser. The plug-in provides drawing, animation and coding options such as events so that you can build interactive, well-designed canvas-based web apps.”
